I have experienced some remarkable deals by imagining becoming quantum entangled w/ the cards, just prior to reading them (but after shuffling[1]). No more or less than that: I just sit before the stack for a moment and softly but sincerely go w/ whatever the notion of becoming quantum entangled w/ the cards conjures. Preceding this was a counter-intuitive realisation that the values of the cards are not fixed until they are read, and a sort of time paradox in which cards known to be "right" in the future for a given set of circumstances, are communicated to the present (not unlike some of Mr Carroll's GM, perhaps).

[1: Fwiw, my shuffles are as random as for any common card game, and I do not read the order of the cards prior to shuffling.]

I know this realization. I apply it sometimes but it gives me the feeling of challenging Consensus Reality too hard.
Anyway, in order to keep reality undefinied until necessary I suggest shuffling cards with eyes closed.

Well, simply following GM, why dont' YOU communicate with yourself/your cards from present ("future") to past ("present").
You may also do this by rearranging tarots in the "right" position when event occurs, if you remember it.
