Hi everyone! Great to see you all here. This is like a parallel universe Psychonaut. Or rather is it like the Psychonaut dreaming between voyages?

The Ideosphere is looking good.

I don’t seem to be able to download an image for my avatar. Any idea how to solve this anyone?

If nothing helps, delete your profile and try again with a new.
I didn't have no problem so far, but then I haven't uploaded an avatar.
So far everybody seems to do fine.
Try to upload an avatar with no more then a 100 kb.

What browser are you using? I use Firefox, and I sometimes have weird problems when it comes to uploading images. When I'm listing stuff on ebay, I open up IE to avoid the hassle.

Also, maybe turn off the firewall, if there is one...

Guys, I too cannot upload either from my webpage or from my files.
It is not the limit.
When I do profile change it simply doesn't react and deletes all information.

Right now the software is set to accept anything smaller than or equal to 100 wide by 150 tall. The image can be .jpg .gif or .png

The change was to overcome some sizing problems I saw and allow for transparencies, but unfortunately the software doesn't give you any sort of error message or help when it rejects an image and I don't see a way to make it do so. I can take the limits off but then we will have some massive avatars which won't display properly and slow down page loads.

Let me know if the 100 by 150 is a problem and I can take off the limit. We'll just have to ask anyone who loads a big image to scale it down if this makes page loads a problem or screws up the page.

Nope, not to big. This is the one:
http://www.pocketart.nl/sperm.jpg

He is called Orphan Sperm and is my long time www-servitor and Mental Fertilizer,
and where would I be without him?  So at least say hello.

Point is the profile doesn't accept it either way.
Not the one I have on my own host.
Not the one I want to upload.

Page refreshes, but comes up with lost information, the one I typed in and doesn't show the field I typed in at all.
Also before that:
After many fruitless tries, I also uploaded an wrong avatar, one that was too big , but that one showed. I deleted that.
After that , nada again.
Considering to logic I should be able to upload big avatars, but not small ones?
Shall I try again with monsterseize?
I am just glad I am not the only one--- Hey - ALK MEM ---  Grin Grin Grin looks we are a-vtr-less.
