Somewere I have read that servitors are sustained from your own energy.
May be one of the reasons  one can have just 4 or so in Chaosmagic.
No way the universe runs out of energy, so why should I spent mine?
With Bardon method  you can have as many as you want.
They get their energy from the elements directly.
Method simple too:
You make a sphere from one of the elements or a combination from two,
Program that and give it life.
I must say that I mostly hardly spent time programming a servitor.
I give them all full telepatic abilities so they can read my thoughts and others on all levels regarding the task. I just think the task they should do and declare that they have all abilities
needed to to do an excellent job in my favor and to conditions that will not create a conflict with my other beliefs.

For the rest they are automatically selfprogramming,
selfextracting the knowledge for the task from the askasha as much as they need.
I came to that method because I am lazy, but it seems to work so far.

Excellent stuff!

How permanent do you let these get? They seem like one-shot tasked entities. Any specific way you "disolve" them?

I like tying the energy draw to part of the enviroment (very balanced semi-perpetual energy flow). Hmmm...maybe tying energy draws to other things with chaotic/stocastic tendencies? Like hits on a webpage, or number of posts in a forum?

That is what they are. One shot grannies....  selfdistructing after task. Comes from the elements, returns back to the elements.

Telarus , that is a wild idea. So far I was  posting on the net equals ritual into inserting thoughtform directly into thoughtform subspace to create the anomaly.
But now you bring up extracting energy from the collective. This is excellent, it can work, because it might heigten the chances of anomaly creation.
Any specific idea? Like a counter being an energy harvestmachine for a certain task ?
I do believe in giving and receiving though. So in that way, I would have to make something on the webpage that gives energy to people too.

By the way, for longer servitors , I give them names, make an expire-date with possibility of date-extensions as many times as I want.  Servitors do get more intelligent and powerfull with time too.
